Bay Shore,NY- The ceiling was opened up in an attempt to discover where the roof was leaking. Following repair by our roofer, John, the sheetrock on the bathroom ceiling was patched in. The peeling paint on the walls was removed. The joint where the walls meet the ceiling was retaped and spackled. The room was primed and given a fresh new look with a change of paint color and white country trim mouldings. A "stool" was added to the window to create a deeper sill at the homeowner's request.
Rocky Point, NY- This storm door had been installed years ago onto the aluminum capping which camouflaged the rotted wood underneath. The threshold was in poor condition and the sill plate underneath was also rotten. We removed the door and did the neccessary rebuilding of the the opening, replacing the threshold and sill. The customer purchased the new doors directly at my cost and we installed them correctly for operation and aesthetics. We finished the installation with custom moulding of Azek, (a maintenance-free, weather proof material which may be painted if desired).
