Ronkonkoma, NY - A faulty sump pump left this basement apartment flooded with water wicking up the walls. Several contractors expressed the need to take it all down to the framing and start over. Sheetrock was only removed where effected by water. Replacement of new drywall, taped and spackled and painted provided seamless repair and left the apartment looking like the flood had never occurred. New kitchen base cabintry was installed because that part had been destroyed and unsalvageable, as were the doors. We replaced 5 interior doors and all effected wood moldings. Rusted baseboards were sanded, primed and painted instead of replaced. This client saved a bundle because we only did work that was neccessary.
